Hi! Welcome back to our channel! Today we are going to be sharing our Al Baik Chicken recipe + the famous garlic sauce they're known for! Maryam grew up in S...

Al-Baik’s garlic sauce is like an aioli, but better. It can be a little tricky to make but once you get it, you’ll realize all those failed batches were worth it. Pairing perfectly with our Al-Baik Fried Chicken, but really with anything else that you can dip in it.

Al-Baik Garlic Sauce

Prep Time: 7 MINUTES Serves: 2-3

  • 100mL whole milk

  • 4 cloves garlic, roughly chopped

  • 1 cup vegetable oil (or neutral oil of choice)

  • Zest of 1/2 lemon

  • Salt

Special Equipment:

  • Hand Blender, keeps the process clean and is honestly the most consistent way we’ve found

Preparation:

  1. Add milk, garlic, and vegetable oil to cup

  2. Put hand blender to the bottom of the cup and run on medium speed for 5 seconds. Then slowly move the blender up and down and run for another 3-4 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened up and has a mayo-like consistency

  3. Add zest of half a lemon and a few pinches of salt. Blend for a few seconds and taste, add salt as necessary

  4. Put into an airtight container and refrigerate (should last 3-4 days in the fridge). Once it has cooled, the sauce has a nice and thick consistency and is ready to go!
